London Fashion Week: Two

I’m sure people are wondering why I keep up with fashion week(s) when it’s rare “curves” are even seen during this time… Well as mention before, I love fashion.  I look to these lines as inspiration for many things, life, outfits…interior design colors.
The possibilities are indeed endless!
Shall we jump back across the pond? Yes! Let’s go!

Milan Fashion Week: Take Two

Yesterday officially marked day one of Paris Fashion Week.  Can anyone tell me where the month of September went?  Feels like it was just 90 degrees and New York was the city to be in.  Time sure does fly!  Well, my mind is still living in Italy and enjoying the spoils of Milan Fashion Week.  Hold on tight as I rally the photogs to snap some fashions. (I’ll totally tag team posts between Milan and Paris…we’re jet-setters baby!)

Best Dressed at the 2012 Emmy’s

Who really watches the Emmy’s?  I mean, really, watches them?  Most of us are tuned into whatever channel has the red carpet arrivals and after that it’s back to whatever we were doing.  Personally, I glace in every now and then to see if something funny is happening but that’s about it.  Know what I love?  The dresses!!  The jewels!! The shoes!! Sometimes that hair.  I pulled together lots of pics from the arrivals that you can see here in the previous post….H E R E in an easy to view slide show.
Everyone looked absolutely amazing but of course as with everything in life…you can’t have everything.  So, my fave dresses and women in those dresses are in this tiny (maybe medium) spill of glamour!  Take a looksie!

This is definitely an amazing color!  The dress, shoes and her incredibly cute pixie cut is freaking adorbs!  She looks comfy too, bonus!
Ariel Winter
in
Katherine Kidd
This is my absolute top look from last night!  Would it be wrong to ask the designer to make this exact dress for me to wear around the house?  Probably so but I want it!  Last year, this 14 year old, yes 14, wore a lil bit of cleave, this is definitely age appropriate.  Cute.

That smokey color is amazing!  It was flowy but was still very sexy!
Hayden Panettiere
in
Marchesa
Ok, this dress is absolutely beautiful…no questions asked.
Think there was something off about it and the only thing I could think of was Hayden’s height…definitely would’ve flowed better on someone taller.
Lucy Liu
in
Atelier Versace
On the red carpet, she said this dress was heavy, it looked like it!  I enjoyed that she wore because she looks fantastic!  The dress looks like it’s dripping hot metal…talk about an entrance!
Sofia Vergara

Zuhair Muraid
Hell-O Sofia!  At first glance, totally not feeling but then, she turned around (hence why that pic is first) it’s mermaid gone absolutely sexy! And the color, WHOA!
Ms. Kelly Osbourne

Zac Posen
Love, love, love this dress and her hair!  I just wish she’d pick a different color now but it went extremely well with this lilac tone!
Kat Dennings & the twins
Honorable mention to her bf
Nick Zano (I love his casual look!)

J. Mendel
Gotta admit, all I can see in these pics are her boobs!  The cut on this dress did the damn thang, seriously!  I didn’t even see her pull on the top while she was walking!
Julie Bowen
in
Monique Lhuillier
Thank you Julie Bowen, for pulling out something neon!  On a night like this, at first, didn’t think I was gonna see much in the color department but OMG!  The ruching, the bandeau style top. Love it!
Padma Lakshmi
in
Monique Lhuillier
No words for amazing she looks in this dress, the dress itself and the color!
Christina Hendricks
in
Christian Siriano
Ok, there was clearly a theme last night and that theme was cleavage!  I’m not mad at it!  Being curvy, I embrace big boobage…where it right like Christina did and you’ll look incredible!  The color she’s wearing here is so perfect with her red locks and peachy/salmo lips…loves it!
Ok kiddos!  You’ve seen the gowns, the shoes, the jewels and the clutches…which star had your favorite look from Emmy night 2012?

Milan Fashion Week: Fendi Edition

I know, I know…the faves are late.  Better late than never in this case, right?  I think so! Believe me when I say, I’m usually never late…in fact, I’m normally quite early.  As a perfectionist who might have a little OCD, I get worried about being late, rushing and messing something up.  In turn, things tend to be more tediously planned.  Seems a bit to par since it’s fashion week time…a runway show NEVER starts on time so it’s only fitting.  Enough of my issues, let’s look at the styles!

Starting with Fendi…watched live, fell in love, only hated ONE thing and I WILL need that dice bag come March!

All photos are courtesy of Getty Images!

Honorable mention just because I do love Mr. Karl Lagerfeld…this is the ONLY thing I didn’t like…instantly reminded me of the Flintstones.  The tote in this pic deserves a mention as well! PLUS…dice bag/clip on!!

Thank you FENDI!

Meet one of fall’s chic and sleek bag from Botkier is called Lucy.  It’s available for $395 which is pretty amazing! Imagine this paired with skinny jeans and a nice big sweater on your way to Starbucks to get my favorite of the season…Salted Caramel Mocha!

Better yet, let me just show you with this magical outfit designer web thingy called Polyvore.  I mentioned it in Tuesday’s Morning Linkage.

Botkier Lucy bag, skinny jeans, comfy wedge Toms, oversized tee and sweater…fish tail a side pony/braid, slap on a cute pair of dark sunnies and Nars lip gloss…VOILA!  Perfect outfit for running around town and grabbing that perfect cup of coffee and maybe running in Target lol!  This is pretty much my staple and go-to pieces before the weather turns to frigid degrees here in Michigan.  Everything you see in the pic is available for curvy girls so don’t be shy…go buy!!

London’s Calling: Burberry Edition Spring/Summer 2013

Just as soon as New York Fashion Week ended, London Fashion Week started and now…Milan Fashion Week!  Can you imagine the jet lag some of these people are feeling?!  Sheesh! They’re probably use to it by now.  Well, luckily for me and you…there’s this thing called the interwebs! As with Curves and Coffee’s NYFW, we’re going to attempt to flip through thousands of pics to find my faves!  Let’s just get straight down to business…

If you know anything about me and I do mean any tiny little thing, you know I spent countless hours trying to find a certain bag earlier this year.  I won’t even mention the name of said bag nor will I post a picture, well maybe I will post a pic.

Point is, THAT exact bag SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE!  My name is seriously still sitting on some list in New York at the Burberry store.  Clearly, I absolutely love this brand!  Ok, back to the LFW…Burberry proved to me once again, why there’s such an infatuation with everything they produce.  In case you just want to see my faves aka a cheat sheet for those who don’t want to look at the live show…here you go!

If you’re not flabbergasted like me (I’ve looked at the live show and the pics over and over again) then maybe I need medical attention lol! Just kidding!  Is there anything here that can’t be loved?  Ok, maybe the shiny trench coats for the finale were a tad bit Puff Daddy & Mase circa 1998 during the shiny suit era but these coats are FITTED!  That’s gotta stand for something, right? Right.

Wanna know something,  I love Burberry no matter what and a little birdie told me a rumor about Burberry………..stay glued to Morning Linkage tomorrow!

 SS2013: The BIG Finish

Diesel Black Gold

I’m starting with a video!  Wanna know why?
Because I loved EVERYTHING about this show!
From the skate boarders to the clothes…

I loved scrolling and clicking through thousands of runway looks but what I missed the most were the “behind the scenes” shots.  After searching several sites I stumbled upon  Dazed Digital and my heart beat with contentment!  Check out the pics and interviews from a couple of my lust/loves of fashion like Phillip LimPrabal Gurung and Alexander Wang

While on my final journey through fashion week,  I couldn’t choose just several pics from these last designers, just like Diesel, I loved EVERYTHING!  So with that being said, enjoy the runway looks via video!
Last but certainly not least….

The End!
Thanks for sharing the fun of NYFW Spring/Summer Women’s Wear 2013 with me!

NYFW Faves: SS2013 Part 4

Hope everyone is enjoying my handpicked faves from this years Spring/Summer extravaganza!  It was touch and go for a minute there earlier this week…dizzy from the all the patterns, lack of caffeine and sleep…didn’t think I was gonna make it through to watch live shows from my computer!!  Clearly I did and that made it all the more fun to cuddle up in bed sans make-up and heels to watch the shows!

Just when you think you’ve seen it all or had just about enough fashion for one week…some designer restores your faith in humanity with its’ first look!  I’m not saying these shows were anything less than stellar but I was concerned about a few things or lack thereof from a couple designers.  Luckily, it there were only a few looks I completely despised.  Thankfully for you, you won’t see those here, I like showcasing things that I actually enjoyed from fashion week.

Ok, back to the fashions!!
