Ready To Wear – London Fashion Week – Spring/Summer 2015

London Fashion Week sneaks up on me every season! I’m usually putting the finishing touches on my fashion faves from the Big Apple and BOOM; it’s already day three in London! Don’t know how the fashion world does it but they do a damn good job at it! London brings the high society out for a play date to show off their new frocks on the runway.

As with New York Fashion Week, continue to keep an eye on this post for your updated links to my faves.

New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 — Herve Leger by Maz Azria

Well Well Well

Looks like Max Azria mixed things up for their Herve Leger line this year! Well, as much as you can mix up a bondage/bandage dress that is. Instead of having a full collection filled with body hugging dresses and skirts, Azria threw in loose-fitting kimono style tops that fit in perfectly! Along with the Japanese flare, swimsuits with mini belts, and an array of yummy colors; the spring line for Herve Leger looks to be on point!

Carolina Herrera — New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015

Timeless.

Classic.

Effortless.

Are just a few words I’d use to describe Carolina Herrera and her collections. Season after season, Herrera gives us bold yet feminine looks that will take your wardrobe wherever you want to go! This season focused on displaced floral patterns and thigh skimming dresses that are perfect for lunch with the girls.

New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 — Alexander Wang

Alexander Wang went full on androgyny for his spring show.

Slicked back hair, less than minimal makeup, and did the models have eyebrows or am I tripping? Either way, they strutted down the runway with the most serious facial expressions!  Mr. Wang gave us a sporty yet sophisticated spring 2015 collection which featured bright colors against black mixed with pure white.

Gotta say…LOVING IT!

New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 — Christian Siriano

Christian Siriano pulled out all the tricks in his hat for this collection! From laser cutout suits (yes SUITS) to floor length ball gowns to the softest of sheath dresses, the spring 2015 collection was a treat from beginning to end. This collection seemed to have a look for every type of style and any kind of event. I’d wear a laser cut suit to the office, who wouldn’t?!

New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 — Tadashi Shoji

Tadashi Shoji always gives us the romanticism that we need during New York Fashion Week. The sprring and summer collection for 2015 picked up right where he left off (with a little more sexy thrown in). Structured silhouettes were met with sheer cutouts and lace overlays. I really want to have several pieces in my closet to put on for a rainy day or for the days I just want to feel like a queen!

*Sticky* Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week — Spring/Summer 2015

The time is now my fashion friends!

Is it just me or did fashion week sneak up on us this year? Maybe it’s because I have so much other stuff going on now, that it’s hard to keep up with the ever-evolving happenings. Eh. Either way, Curves And Coffee is here to bring you the daily fashion week beats from runway to runway.

Yes, the main focus is the physique of a curvaceous woman here but the love of “all things fashion” prevails each season. So sit back, relax, and enjoy as I bring you my fashion faves from Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week. I’ll  try to keep this post “sticky” and updated with all the links to my faves as they’re posted. That way, you guys can simply click here and see if your treasured designer is one of mine as well!
