Welcome to Friday stylish sweets! What a better way to start the weekend off than with things that are “a lively, radiant, lush shade of green?” That is, of course according to Pantone.
Pantone, the company that gives us a new color to love or loathe every year has done it again! The color for 2013 is Emerald. Yes, green, the color of, well… MONEY! That’s pretty much all I needed to know. As a girly girl, I’ve never been fond of the color green so this one will have to grow on me. Weird, huh? I went to college with the colors green and white, everything said “Go Green”. How can I not be a cheerleader for green?!

The best way to get accustomed to something so unfamiliar is to find things you like about it. Sounds easy enough. Let’s see… I like money, actual emeralds and oooh those green skinny jeans I purchased months ago! Remember those?
